California Electrologist

Electrologist Tina Reynolds will be speaking at the 2015 PCOS Symposium in Los Angeles

Before and After

26-year-old man with excessive beard hair on his neck. He had difficulty shaving this area which often resulted in the skin breaking out and the development of ingrown hairs. The "after" photo shows his neck clear of hair, pustules (breakouts) and ingrown hairs (bumps). Results were permanent.

Did you know?

Gently exfoliating your skin before your treatment opens up the follicles and lets the unwanted hair slide out more easily.

Did you know?

The hair you see is not all the hair you have. Hair grows in cycles. That's why it takes more than one appointment to permanently clear an area.

Before and After

22-year-old man wanted his chest hair thinned, but not totally removed. Only electrolysis is able to create a completely natural look by thinning and feathering. Laser cannot duplicate this natural appearance. Results were, of course, permanent.

Electrolysis Tip

Clean skin releases unwanted hair more easily. Remove your makeup before your appointment, Remove makeup prior to your electrolysis appointment.so the hair follicles are clean and accessible.

Electrolysis Tip

It's okay to shave between treatments, but never, ever tweeze!

Never tweeze between treatments.

Electrolysis Tip

Ask your electrologist for aftercare advice. We can recommend the product that is right for your skin and treatment program.

Before and After

Publicity photo of a 25-year-old film/stage actor. The body hair was sculpted, not just removed. Hairs were cleared at the lower pectorals. Hair in the center of the chest was feathered to look normal. The stomach hair was thinned and shaped into a normal centerline. Only electrolysis can produce this natural and undetectable appearance. Results were permanent. (Electrologist: Mike Bono, Santa Barbara.)

Before and After

This is a common eyebrow case. The woman had been tweezing and lost control of the desired shape. As the hairs grew back, the electrologist was able to reshape the eyebrows into a pleasing natural shape. Results were permanent; this woman will never have to pluck her eyebrows again - ever!

Did you know?

If your electrologist can't see the hairs, they can't treat the hairs. Tweezing, waxing, or threading before or between your hair removal appointments will only reduce the number of hairs your electrologist can remove (treat).
